T. Watson Jernigan, MD, MA
Dr. Jernigan is the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He received his BA from Denison University, Granville, OH. He received his medical degree at the University of West Virginia, Morgantown, WV. He finished his residency at the Akron City Hospital, Akron, OH.
Specialties Menopausal symptoms, perimenopausal bleeding, hormonal therapy including alternative and complimentary medications.
Sheri Holmes, MD
Dr. Holmes is an assistant professor, Vice Chair, and tenured faculty at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. She received a BSN from ETSU in 1989. Her medical degree was completed at ETSU/QCOM in 2001. She completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA in 2005.
Specialties Robotic, laparoscopic & minimally invasive surgery; pre-invasive disease of the cervix and vulva; general obstetrics and gynecology.
Howard Herrell, MD
Dr. Herrell is an assistant professor at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at ETSU/QCOM in Johnson City, TN.

Martin E. Olsen, MD
Dr. Olsen is a professor and OB/GYN resident program director at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He received his BS from Muskingham College in 1981. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in 1985. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio in 1988 and OB/GYN residency at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1991. He was board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1993 and Family Medicine in 1988.

Ann Gebka-Rouse, MD
Dr. Gebka-Rouse is an assistant professor and tenured faculty at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. She received a BS in Biomedical Engineering in 1996. She completed her medical degree at the University of Miami in 2000. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.

Olga Sarkodie, MD
Dr. Sarkodie is an associate professor at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. She completed her medical degree at the Minsk State Medical Institute in Belarus and her residency at ETSU/QCOM in Johnson City, TN. She also received a second graduate degree in International Law from the President's of Belarus Academy in 1998.

We have the region's only fellowship trained board-certified physician specializing in Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogynecology. George H. Davis, DO, FACOOG
Dr. Davis received his BS from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (TCOM) formerly known as the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Then, he was Chief Resident at the Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He finished his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
Selman Welt, MD
Dr. Welt received his BS from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.
He completed his residency from the Washington University of St. Louis, Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. His fellowship was completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
He has two daughters that are grown and return to East Tennessee yearly to visit family and friends. He likes to cook, travel, read and garden. This year he is tending a tulip patch.
