Rebecca J. Copeland, MD Dr. Copeland is a professor at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine, board certified in Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from ETSU in Johnson City, TN. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, TN. Her medical training included residency at ETSU/QCOM (Categorical Internal Medicine) and Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN (Family Medicine and Categorical Internal Medicine).
Anna Broome Gilbert, MD
The Elizabethton, Tennessee native first graduated from ETSU in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After getting her master’s degree in biomedical science from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va., Gilbert returned to ETSU as a first-year medical student at Quillen College of Medicine. Patrick MacMillan, MD
Dr. MacMillan is an assistant professor and a co-director of internal medicine clerkship at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in History with minor in Biology at the University of Southern Indiana. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine. His medical training included residency in internal medicine/psychiatry at ETSU/QCOM in Johnson City, TN.
Kenneth E. Olive, MD, FACP
Dr. Olive is a professor and an associate dean for academic and faculty affairs at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, NC. He received his medical degree at The Brody School of Medicine at the East Carolina University in Greeneville, NC. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and residency from the USAF Medical Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Dr. Summers is a professor and the Division Chief of General Internal Medicine at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in math and chemistry (Cum Laude) from Hobart College in Geneva, NY. He obtained a Doctorate of Medicine from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He completed his internship and residency at the General Hospital, Rochester, NY.
David R. Ginn, MD, FACP
Dr. Ginn is a professor at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine and board certified in internal medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
